Mr. Cory Uselton, Superintendent
Mr. Cory Uselton was elected as Superintendent of Education for DeSoto County Schools in August 2015. Mr. Uselton was named the 2015 Mississippi High School Principal of the Year by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, and he was recognized as the 2013 Administrator of the Year for the First Congressional District of Mississippi. Mr. Uselton serves on the Superintendents’ Advisory Council for the Mississippi Department of Education, and he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Northwest Mississippi Community College.
