The Child Nutrition department encourages pre-payments to meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the cafeteria lines go faster and students will have more time eat, relax, and talk with their friends. It also gives you peace of mind that the money is not lost, stolen, or used for anything other than the cafeteria. Check below to see our payment options.

Online Payments

We use LINQ Connect for our online meal payments. With LINQ Connect you can manage your child's meal funds, monitor their balance and purchases, submit meal benefit applications, and view the menus. A convenience fee of 3.95% with a minimum fee of $2.85 will be charged per credit card transaction. The convenience fee for ACH is $1.85 per transaction.

Cash / Check

Cash and check at the serving line is accepted as well for those who chose not to utilize online payments.

Balance Transfer

Balances can be transferred on your LINQ Connect account. You can create a LINQ Connect account by clicking HERE.

Refund Policy

Refunds are only given to students who have moved out of the district, graduated from DeSoto County Schools, or who are receiving free priced meal benefits. Click HERE to download the refund request form.

Return Check Policy

Once a check leaves our schools to be deposited it is no longer in our hands. If a check is returned, it is turned over to Envision Payments. Envision charges $40 per returned check.
